For our Colson on your 7th birthday.... From day one, when the nurse lifted you up and we saw your bright, orange fuzzy head...you have been such a gift! Dad and I love you so much Colson Chupp! God has given you a creative mind, one that constantly raises question and finds solutions. He has placed a kindness in your heart, that leads to a righteous anger against injustice; you are quick to defend those who need defending. Last night, when we told you we reactivated the adoption process, your response was so full of excitement; we are thankful for how much you love your brother, sisters and how much you want God to bring along another Chupp baby. We praise God for so much about you...for your sharp mind, healthy body, witty sense of humor, artistic abilities, love of music. Our prayer is that you will continue to realize that these are God's gifts of undeserved grace and that you will use them to bring glory and honor to Him. Our prayer is that you will love God with your whole heart, that you will know Him deeply in a genuine way and that you will be faithful to Him to the end. We know He has plans for you Colson; He has written a particular story for your life...we think it's going to be quite an adventure story!
