The Lamb-- a Great Book to Read in These Pre-Easter Weeks

Several years ago, my friend Anne-Marie loaned us this book:

The Lamb~by John Cross

Probably best for ages 5-11.

It is honestly one of the best presentations of the gospel  that I've seen so far.
Since then, we purchased or own copy and have given several as gifts.

We've probably been through it three or four times now and I'm thinking we may try to go through it once more before Easter.

It comes with an audio CD that is excellent...though the narrator's voice is slightly creepy
(sorry AM...might be the Canadian accent :)
Our kids never seemed to notice.

I love the way the book explains how the sacrifices in the Old Testament are a foreshadowing for Jesus' conclusive sacrificial death on the cross and how Cross explains the  atonement that was made through Jesus' death and resurrection.

It really is worth reading through as a family....
