and my husband had us look up Galatians 5:22 & 23 as a cross-reference.
I found myself thinking:
I've already read that so many times.
You probably know the passage--those "fruits of the Spirit" verses...
It's one of the sections in the Bible that I sometimes skim through because it's quoted so often.
But I was shocked by my callous response.
Especially in light of James 3:13:
"Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness (humility) of wisdom."
So this morning I decided to just
Pause.
And slow down.
And really let His words sink in.
"But the fruit of the Spirit
is love...
