| Busted! Fun with baby wipes... |
I met Lisa about a year ago.
I finally emailed her because in the same week three different people I'm close to--in three totally separate social circles--told me about this spunky little lady that I would absolutely love.
And I do!
Lisa's blog is beautiful--with so many creative ideas for meals, crafts, decorating and best of all--she loves and follows Jesus.
Lisa grew up in Europe as the child of missionaries to the military, and she watched her mom use what she had, to create beauty.
I feel like I'm sharing in that experience whenever I stop by her blog. Lisa has two amazing kiddos and a really fun, kind, TALL firefighter husband whose firestation we recently visited.
I've been hesitant to enter the world of guest posting (have only done it once before) because it usually requires sharing an unpublished piece...
which means pre-planning...
which means knowing what you're going to write before you write it...
which is something that I haven't figured out how to mesh well with my current scenario of kids, homeschool, dogs, stickbugs, and empty bottles of fish food....
| Lydia + fish food = mess |
BUT--Lisa gave me the option of submitting something I'd written recently, so I chose to share the post about Heaven and why I don't want our kids to feel at home here.
If you have a chance, head over and meet Lisa sometime...you'll be delighted by her creativity and also her love for the Lord.
