Go Out and Play -- Sharing Today at The Better Mom...

What do you remember most from your childhood?

I remember...

~backyard tree houses

~old coffee cans filled with snails

~barefeet hardened by a summer  
   of use

~the vacant field where I gathered
   grass bundles

~painting ice-plant-goo-markings on the fence next door

~fruit trees and bird-planted cherry tomatoes that supplied an abundance of produce for
  feasts

~even the daily fear of pulling an alfalfa flake for my goat, wondering if with her feed, I'd also
   find a black widow spider


But for many children growing up in this generation...
Life has changed...
