I Dislike Change (New Cameras and Such)

Well--
My "new" camera is finally out of the box.
It was actually new back in June, but I have a hard time with change.
And instructions manuals.
And I've had the same Kodak-point-and-shoot for about 10 years.
And I'm just slightly intimidated by something requiring a lens change.
And...

But my friend Kim made me this cute camera-strap-cover.
Because she said I needed to open the camera box.
So...how could I resist?

The battery is charging and maybe one day I'll truly make the switch.

And yes--
I did note the irony.
I'm still taking pictures of my new camera with my old camera.
Clearly have some issues with change.
But this is progress...
