Walking With Grandpa (Sharing God's Love Through Creation)

Walking With Grandpa is a book that is close to my heart.
For so many reasons--

First, I really do believe that God reveals Himself and who He is, through nature and this book is about finding joy in sharing God's creation.

God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone,
but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars.
~Martin Luther

And I love the story shared--
A grandpa who takes walks with his grandchild and as they walk together, the grandpa points to God's fingerprints that cover the stars and sea and animals and flowers and...

Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing of His glorious name!
Tell the world how wonderful He is.
How awe-inspiring are your deeds, O God!
How great your power!
—Psalm 66:1-2 (TLB)

And then, there's also just how much I love the author--
My special friend, Marilyn Hubler.

Marilyn and I share a love for nature, and education, and family, and traditions, and most importantly, for God.
I met Marilyn several years ago through a family class that she offers each year for mamas with younger children.  I so appreciate her Titus 2 heart and also her love for God's Creation.
She's a kindred spirit.

So it's an absolute joy to let you know her book is now published and available to purchase at the

It's a beautiful book, illustrated by Ericka Taylor (one of Marilyn's four daughters) and it would make a perfect gift for a grandpa on Father's Day or anyone who wants their child to see God's love through--

...The Heavens...the work of His fingers...
the moon and the stars...which He has set in place.
~Psalm 8:3

We have several copies, but my favorite copy is the one in which Marilyn wrote:

To each of the Chuppies!
May you always find joy in your faithful Creator
as you walk and talk together.
Hebrews 11:3

If you have a heart for pointing your children to Christ
through the every-day-miracles-of-creation,
please stop by and take a look at Walking With Grandpa...
