I Don't Often Write Reviews...

But,
I love Darlene Schacht's eBook--
The Good Wife's Guide.
And today she's offering a chance for her readers to win a copy.  The book is also available to purchase through amazon as well as in the pdf version on her website.


Part of the reason I want to recommend this book is because of how much I appreciate Darlene.
About six months ago I started writing for
The Better Mom website.
Darlene is also a contributor at The Better Mom
(as in-- we both want to be a better mom).


Through every dialogue we've shared, and as I've witnessed her walk through some joys and real sorrows, I've seen Darlene's faith shine through as genuine and solid.
Her desire is truly to honor God by living as a wife and mama who works heartily unto the Lord.
She's encouraged me many times though her writing, but also through our personal interactions.


When Darlene sent me the rough draft of her book, I immediately read it.
I love the way she moves from the ideals and goals of being a godly wife, to practical applications.  The lists and cleaning routines and real-life schedules and organizational tips towards the end of the book are so helpful and she offers some very effective self-analysis-questions at different points throughout the book.  What I appreciated most about this book though, was that Darlene explains well the "why" behind it all--everything she shares is rooted in Scripture and her focus is on living a life that honors God.  I love this.
